The short version

Storiva has no accounts and does not collect your name, email or reading activity. Everything the app remembers about your reading is stored only on your phone.

The app is free because it shows banner ads from Google AdMob. To show those ads, Google collects some device information, as explained below. We never sell your information.

What is stored on your device

To work properly, the app keeps the following in a private database on your phone. It is never sent to us, to Google or to anyone else:

Ads by Google AdMob

Banner ads in Storiva are provided by Google AdMob. When an ad is shown, Google's software in the app may collect and use:

How Google uses ad data

Google uses this information to deliver ads, measure them, prevent fraud and, where you allow it, show ads based on your interests. Google handles it under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. You can learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Storiva never shares your reading history or the stories you read with Google or with advertisers.

Your ad choices

If you live in a region that requires it, such as the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before showing personalized ads. You can change your choice anytime in Settings → Ad privacy choices.

On Android you can also reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your phone's settings, under Google → Ads (or Privacy → Ads).

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Storiva schedules reading reminders and story suggestions on your phone. They are created by the app itself, not sent from a server. You can turn them off in Settings or in your phone's settings at any time.

Internet and links

Stories are stored in the app and can be read without an internet connection. The app goes online only to load ads. If you tap a source link at the end of a story, it opens in your browser, and that website's own privacy policy applies.

If you installed Storiva from a story a friend shared, Google Play tells the app which story it was, so it can open it for you. That stays on your phone.

Deleting your data

To erase everything the app has stored about you (reading progress, history, favorites, reminders and settings), use Settings → Storage → Delete all my data. Uninstalling the app also deletes it all. To limit ad data, reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings.

Children

Storiva is not directed at children under 13. Some stories cover mature themes such as crime and loss, and ads are limited to content suitable for teens. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here with a new date.
